I am about half way through book five of my Fabriano Artist’s Journals. Every day, I try to make at least one drawing in these books. Some days I’ll do as many as 8 or 10. Others none, and still others I will go back and complete a drawing begun earlier. Several doctrines apply to how these drawings are produced. Since the practice began as something to do while I waited for my wife, who had to work a lot of overtime at the time, I just
draw what ever is in front of me. Essentially, this boils down to
a lot of “what ever was in front of me at the time”.
